2012 Fundraiser Overview
As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Partners For Progress relies on fundraising events, grant writing, community support, and the generosity of its program supporters to raise the funds necessary to continue growth and provide quality programs.
Partners For Progress (PFP) hosts three major fundraising events each year; The PFP Dream Big Derby Day Party, Summerfest Celebration and Student Horse Show, and The Hoe Down Barn Dance and Auction.

Carrots For A Cause is a great event where our volunteers and the community come together to support PFP with a day of pure fun!
The money raised from this event will be used to help care for our incredible therapy horses. This care, which is quite intensive, includes: hay, grain, shavings, farrier care, veterinary care, and so much more!
Our goal this year? To raise $15,000!
Taking place at the Brunswick Lanes in Vernon Hills, this afternoon of bowling will be sure to be a "ball" of fun.!

This year’s Plop O’ Gold will be slightly different from Plops of the past. This year our Plop O’ Gold will be a raffle pull with more chances to win! There will be three (3) lucky winners. These Ticket Holders will be awarded $2,000, $1,000, and $500 consecutively! Likewise, the Sellers of the Tickets will be awarded $300, $200, and $100 (for more details please see our Tickets)! All Plop O’ Gold proceeds go toward PFP’s general operations and horse care costs.
This lively afternoon will also include traditional Irish food (corned beef sandwiches) and desserts along with the ability to tour our facility, watch a live demonstration from one of our programs, meet our instructors, therapists, and our horses.
Partners For Progress is once again partnering with the local food pantry at this event. Your "admittance fee" to this great event will be at least one non-perishable food item that will be donated to the local food pantry!!

The Dream Big Derby Day Party at Thunder Hawk Golf Course in Beach Park, Illinois.
Tickets are $100 each.
This is PFP’s version of the ultimate Kentucky Derby Party. The celebration will begin with casino games, delicious food, and PFP’s very own Derby Racing Events! The day’s festivities will conclude with the Run for the Roses – The Kentucky Derby. Winners will have the chance to win great prizes.

Summerfest Celebration and Student Horse Show

PFP’s Summerfest is a day of fun for the whole family. Come and spend the day with us to enjoy carnival games, delicious BBQ, decadent sweets, beautiful raffle baskets, and a fabulous Horse Show put on by the riders of PFP. This is a community event and all are welcome!! There is something for everyone at our Summerfest Celebration. Bring the whole family.....and then some!!

Hoe Down Barn Dance

PFP’s Down Home Barn Dance is the best darned Hoe Down this side of Texas! The evening’s festivities include a Live and Silent Auction, Raffle Baskets, Fabulous BBQ Dinner, and Dancing to a live band! Last year, over 600 cowboys and cowgirls attended this event. This is one event that you DO NOT want to miss!
