Kimberly Metnik

As a dedicated CHA Certified Therapeutic Riding Therapist at Partners for Progress, NFP, Kimberly "Kim" Metnik brings over 20 years of experience in physical therapy, specializing in pediatric care and neurologic conditions. A graduate of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine, Kim is a certified clinical instructor and an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Kim has a special interest in working with individuals with neurologic diagnoses, balance disorders, autism spectrum disorder, genetic and developmental disorders. Her commitment to continued learning has led her to complete additional training in NDT techniques, Myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, pediatric yoga, Kinesiotaping, orthotics, pediatric gait therapy, sensory integration, and orthopedic care. She is also a certified yoga instructor for children with special needs, incorporating movement and mindfulness into her therapeutic approach.

At PFP, Kim is passionate about helping children reach their highest potential by working closely with both them and their families. She believes in the power of equine-assisted therapy to enhance physical and emotional growth in ways that traditional settings cannot.

With her extensive knowledge, compassionate care, and dedication to progress, Kim plays a crucial role in helping PFP riders gain strength, confidence, and independence.
