Marle Novatnik

As a PATH and CHA Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor at Partners for Progress, NFP, Marle Novatnik is dedicated to helping riders build confidence, independence, and a deep connection with their horses. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Purdue University but discovered early on that her true passion lay in equestrian training and instruction.

Marle’s riding journey began at age 12 with a Saddlebred trainer, where she spent a decade honing her skills, eventually earning the title of assistant trainer and instructor. Her path to equine therapy began in high school when a fellow volunteer introduced her to Partners for Progress. She quickly became a Lesson Therapy Assistant (LTA) and continued working with the program on and off throughout college while studying speech therapy. During this time, she witnessed firsthand the profound impact that horses can have on individuals of all abilities.

After graduating, Marle became a certified instructor and has been teaching ever since. She also plays an active role in coaching the Partners for Progress show team, traveling to competitions around the country.

With a passion for equestrian education and a deep belief in the power of therapeutic riding, Marle is committed to helping every rider reach their full potential.

A Quote:

"I love watching our riders grow in confidence—both in and out of the saddle. Seeing them shine in the spotlight at a horse show is an incredible reward."
